having found this site once again... yes, a lovely piece

I especially loved the way the willow talked.

1989..we were building a house out of rough and freshly cut lumber.  Living with 9 in a tent.

the 10th came, about 1 month after we initially moved in... That was a hectic summer.

This piece has a lingering stillness, and peace to it.  thank you.

Chris--U r a winner: attitude of gratitude is a gift. They & U are special
hope the health has come back in fullness. The duck silently floating; then two of them arguing....the willows strands brushing against you like a spouse's long hair...very evocative for me. shalomfromneil

Thanks very much for your response Tony.
I think I was amazed that I had 'come through' and so very pleased with the 'little' but most valuable things in life-that I fear just sometimes-we take for granted.God bless-Chris.

What a lovely description!
I like the way this is done, with the background of the hospital and the operation not directly intruding into the poem at all. It could just be a walk in the park - but what comes across is the pleasure you were feeling at the time with the sunshine, the grass, the trees and the pond with the ducks. Well done!

Shadow-many thanks for your response to my poem.
Yes-absolutely incredible at the combined support of God and Nature! Maybe it is something to do with being able to 'see-feel-hear and touch-Nature'-but we cannot 'see' God? We 'see' Him only through Nature?.Chris.

drohan-thank you so much-for your comment.
Yes I agree with you.I was petrified at the thought of going in-but-the Healing work they gave me and my recovery with Nature's support-was awesome! Chris.

scriber-many thanks for your comment.
I am so sorry that your experience was not so 'uplifting'! In 2003-I had to return and have another Bypass-plus repair work etc.and again--they were all magnificent! They are actually going to combine that hospital with a large General hosp.in Cambridge--I fear that the experience will never be quite the same there. So I treasure my memories!Chris.

Chris - What better way to heal than with such inspirational thoughts via
nature, and God's loving gifts via His creations. I enjoyed this post very much.
