Now I know what's bothering me too. I have HMS Pinafore playing in the background and I can't do both either now. You did jolly well as usual, but I'm older. lol

Hi Kabu - I send copies to my daughter occasionally - I don't think
she particularly wants them!

Tony
My younger son who is a III yr engineering student is a wizard at mending computer viruses without losing data. Never learnt it from him though, coz I find it too complicated.

Aw shucks, Neil (and aw fucks).
Still, when I lose some work, i always find the rewritten version is better and doesn't take long to do - if it's fresh in your head, that is...

Proc - so you've got a female computer, then?
I'm a proc too, by the way. It's very satisfying, isn't it.

once previously & today, I cam eback from a poetry reading & workshop for
young folks --upper elementary grades. The anthology I used from our neighborhood group in Maryland last month and today---has a few poems that use the words "sex" and "fuck" once each. There is no sensuality or intercourse, but the words were used in aneutral American way, the "fuck" in terms of "Messed up" situation. In less than 5 minutes ---O man!-- a girl found both words rather than follow the poem I was reading from the middle pages.
So I got back home, and began writing a sonnet about it on the Blogit page itself...yep--happend again. I lost my one version and today's sonnet is the second go. Lost something and gained something else........SO I can relate, Tony! shalomfromneil

We all say it and think it - "back up your hard drive" - but its one of those things you never get around to. Having been hit by a virus a couple of times I'm getting better at it. So far I've been relatively unscathed (a techie capable of extracting my writing before the machine imploded) but wouldn't it be disheartening to lose all our creativity (and your photos, for example).
