Chris - you really touched my heart with this. No human should bear
so much pain from wounds caused by other humans. I have a deep respect for you and glad you find the strength within yourself to share all this with us. You can only get stronger.

Hi Neil--very many thanks for your response..I believe you're right-our
world IS-a wounded one with a wounded civilisation. As you say-NOW is what matters because now is what we can build our future's upon. Joy and Love to you too-shalom my friend.Chris.

You cover a lot of ground in this poem--almost an elegy--& end it with hope
Sometimes I wonder whether we are not all wounded people, a wounded human race, a wounded planet and civilization ...trying to make the pain go away, to heal the wounds, visiting one hospital after another (and only sampling the wrong prescription....). But you have shown the way out, at least to me, today. for now is what really matters.
NOW can help build tomorrow; the past is only anxiety married to regret. JOY&muchLOVE. shalomfromneil

Thank you very much proc.I know I read your poem called 'An Angel'-I am
going back to find and re-read! I believe that you are correct-about suffering as a teacher-all self experiences in life are the very best of teachers.Suffering-in small or large ways-does help us appreciate the 'good things' in life in a more effective way! Thanks again-Chris.

Very touching piece. It resonates in my heart in the post I did
not too long ago called An Angel in the house.Tha hard part of life is that suffering is a better teacher than good times.Im glad you came through on the other side.

Hallo OTA-think I need to get down to the sea-to clear my head!
Maybe if I paddle in the 'waves'-I'll wear a fresher 'head'? Thanks for commenting.Chris.

Hi Tony--think I'm going to have to write some 'lighter' stuff again.
I seem to be 'clearing out' old stuff? (But not 'binning it'?) Thanks for comment.Chris.
