Tony - It used to be available in a weekly bundle of 7 days...
Sunday to Monday.... It made for interesting reading. Not sure if it's still available like that.

Thanks, Shadow!
For a moment there I thought you were in GB, with the Daily Mirror reference! So you have it in South Africa, too!

Hi Carl - I like that - you've blurred the stories into each other,
like different colours of paint running into each other!

True Kat - even the toad story has a downside - they're poisoning lots of
other wildlife in the north of Australia...

Did you say they caught a Snoop Doggy sized toad?
And bullies must wear Paisley ties?
Brazil is making massive fools of us?
Sometimes I get the news jumbled a bit.

As one who does not watch television, read the paper, listen to the radio, it was all news to me. I even understood some of it.

Thanks Neil - very kind. Really I'm just saying this is what's on the news
...today. I make no other comments in the poem. It's a snapshot of the news - in poetic form!

Hi Troosha - indeed, the news is often hardly worth watching.
It's a good approach to minimalise contact with it in many ways, to save time. One thing I can never understand is people who read these enormous, incredibly detailed newspapers on the way to work, or at home at the weekend. Haven't they got anything better to do? A lot odf it is ludicrously detailed and based on guesswork or opinion, anyway. Just give us the essential information (but they never do).

I welcoem your news--with some unwelcome facts and newsy things. You just
report the news, and not make it, right! LOL
I was telling LadyCeeMarie, there are no limits to what e may contribute to Blogit. Any topic, long or short. But you add the TONYZ spice to it all. shalomfromneil

I rarely read the paper....
No news is good news? Probably not but I'll stick to my ostrich approach.
