Gene Roddenberry (1921–1991)
wrote into the Star Trek "bible" that the first thing Man would do when we finally get into space will be to "kill the lawyers." He was, of course, alluding to the first aim of the rebels in Shakespeare’s version of the Peasants’ Revolt of 1381.
