I can see that I will be using the debit card more as well, the only problem is to post the transactions so we can keep track of our account balance.

not having to deal with checks is much easier than you think! We in Europe haven't had them for years now. Checks, a kid would ask, what is that? We all have our bank card (not a credit card). With it, you can pay anywhere by putting it into a reader and pressing your personal pin code. The payment is done. Ever so easy! With that same card, you can make money transfers in the self-banking space of your bank or withdraw cash money. And pc banking is also very popular. I handle all my transfer and payments by it.

People still use cheques? I have them but I'm not sure why. My bank gave them to me. Where do people write cheques to today? --Joy!Mary
