You are a wise soul. I agree with you again. It is a lose/lose situation when people love someone they "shouldn't." In this song, I feel they are recogniizing that love IS a powerful force, because one would hand their lover their heart, and extend the invitation to enter that sacred special room in your heart where you go to heal, knowing your heart could be broken. “so i will share this room with you and you can have this heart to break.” Such vulnerability is written in this song.

Those are lovely song lyrics. Thank you for taking the time to post them with your thoughts. And I love your photo! Such poignant prose in here as I truly understand the longing and am glad you had some closure at least. Saying a positive affirmation for you right now......... Seasons blessing to you. Joy!Mary

I don’t think there’s any “winner” when someone walks away. Often the one that walks is doing it as a preemptive measure – to spare themselves some pain – but they are never spared. And the one left behind has to deal with abandonment. So in the end both people are in pain. Beautiful song about love and loss, isn’t it? Thanks for sharing it – I haven’t heard it in a while.
