Well, Wiley, I have mixed feelings about leaving. It's comfortable and
convenient here, but I'm hoping to buy a house with my wife - a bigger better house than the one she lives in now. The problem is, she's not selling her house fast enough, so i'm gonna have to go back and live in her house for a while instead o my own place here. Yes, I've enjoyed the company of these trees here - it's great to have trees and sky as your view as you sit in the living room.

Yes, Moon, I love them as well, especially if they are not too close
together. For instance, those single trees you get sometimes in the countryside that you see from a train are great.

Thanks, Bhaskar. That does sound familiar, but like you I can't remember
who wrote it this moment. I've probably read it, but not recently enough to influence this.

The poem tells me this move is difficult for you to face, you don't really want to leave. Am I reading you right? Heck, you described the trees so well I'm going to  miss them pal

Tony, there are no beings on the planet quite like trees. They are so very, very special. As a child, I used to look at the trees outside of my window, loving them (though I wouldn’t have known how to use that word then) and thinking that I must have been one at some time. MoonSpirit

Lovely tribute to the endurance of nature and change, Tony

I was wondering while reading this one as to whether you have read The Force that Through the Green Fuse, I'm forgetting the name of the poet. Beautiful sentimental association with Nature.

LOL!  Devonshire cream and strawberries from Plant City, Florida, perhaps?  And a shank of lamb, roast potatoes, green beans almondine.......  And of course, black tea!  Sweet dreams, Dear Mr. Stellar Sonnet!  --Joy! Mary

I didn't take anything negative from this.  Not at all.  I saw three themes working in here, aging/seasons; people/children and yes moving.  Very, very well done.  One of your best, I think!  --Joy!Mary
