My ex-wife and I have not laid eyes on each other or spoken for 10+ years
That works for us and I don't wish to even breathe the same air. Each day I pass her house on my route any avert my eyes, fearing blindness. I take that back! One day as I passed, she was crossing the road, returning from her mailbox. She must have heard me downshift and I admit, she can still move pretty fast for an older individual. Guy

PEOPLE CHANGE
IF THE MARRIAGE IS SOLID. NOW IF ONE HAVE AN ISSUE WITH SOMETHING. SAY LIKE YOUR EX. YOU KEEP CALLING HIM/HER. AND YOU PARTER SAY THIS IS AN ISSUE. AND YOU KEEP DOING IT. THEN SOMETHING IS WRONG WITH YOU. IF YOU DO THEN YOU CHANGE FOR YOUR PARTER. THAT IS CHANGING. WHAT DO YOU THINK.

I can only speak for myself.
Offy, I consider you to be a whole separate breed of female,
very unlike most women from my life experiences. Sort of a "calico girl" like Bonkers, my cat. That is high praise indeed. Don't change. I only named my cat after my
ex to make her
angry. My ex,
not my
cat! Guy

Everyone changes
Yes, but it seems that
many of them only change for the
worse! Have you heard this one? How many therapists does it take to change a lightbulb? Answer: Only one, but the lightbulb has to
WANT to change. Guy

I believe, everyone changes ,somewhat, with time. I know I have. Some of us try to change to better ourselves...and sometimes the cruelity of life changes us. I'm working at making some changes in my life right now. I don't know much, but I do know, no one can change another person, why even try.....a person has to want to change, and you can't change anything for anyone but yourself.

Your gracious reply makes less worried about my favorite gender!
I feared that my frustrated rant would offend a lot of people.(Ladies) I'm glad to hear from someone with the only reasonable attitude about the battle of the sexes. Accept things as they ARE! We are the way we are, there's nothing anyone can do but appreciate the good things about our opposite gender and clear our minds of all the other stuff. It will make you CRAZY! Guy AKA northsage 45

I don't think we single women want to change men...that is why we search for those whom we can be comfortable with...and I must say it has been my experience that men tend to want changes in women as well..Look at my dating history..heck there was one date who after one date wanted me to date no other...Hello?
