Dear Hana - I am very happy to have made peace with a brother
from the USA.  It was a wonderful gesture on his part to seek & find the peace his heart wanted, so I praise him highly for that. There's always a space for each of us to enjoy a peaceful life, co-existing with love and respect for one another. I thank you for your kind words of inspiration and assure you that your support for me & all muslims is highly appreciated. Yes we are always ready for love & forgiveness. I also thank you for praising my poetry which comes the inner sanctity of my heart which beats to the rhythm of the beautiful poetry of the Quran and my friends around me.

Wiley.Coyote - It is with deep respect that I say that I was wholly

moved by your comments above. I have come to learn, happily soon, that you are a far greater man than I originally thought. I accept you apology with humbleness and likewise wish to apologise to you if my words were sometimes harsh & might have caused you any pain or discomfort. We obviously share much in the wise words of Khalil Gibran and maybe some others, who speak of universal peace & harmony. I assure you that I accept you as a brother of mankind and endeavour to read your works in my ateempt to learn more about you.

I feel relieved that sensibilty & peace have prevailed, but then it takes a brave spirit & person to display compassion for a fellow human being. I salute you my friend & brother.

I also appeciate your kind comments re my poetry. I also bid you a peaceful day and may you find that which you seek to fulfil your life.

Salaam.

OTA - your sharp mind is always right - yes a poet writes about his
solitude & mental blocks, but never surrenders to any dark & painful thoughts. There will always be a flicker in his heart & soul, inextinghuishable. It merely takes a beautiful muse to make him spring to life again, for love & life must go on. Thanks for the comment.

Hi Star- hope all this talk about solitude & despair doen't get you
down!. Your smile will soon change all that.

Troosha - A poet's solitude is definitely different from others. It's that
mind struggle and search for answers to complex questions & situations. Yet one's patience and spiritual acceptance must also shine through when putting word to paper. That soft and warm touch must be present because poets are not suppose to despair eternally.

Tony- Very true, though I think there are more happier times
than lonely times. It's a matter how you handle those mental blocks & loneliness.

Good work, Shadow.
It's a successful analogy and also good on the emotional state of the lonely writer - as most writers are!

Shadow
How wonderful!!!  What a fabulous description of the process, the dilemmas, the solitude of shaping words into poetry.

Anybody that can write poetry this good can't possibly be bad.

So, for my part, I am sorry if you were offended by whatever I may have written in Naut's post.

I really don't make a habit of getting involved in religious debate, for the very reason it disturbs my own peace and now it seems yours. For that, I humbly apologize. It is not my nature to be mean or disheartening to a fellow human being.

Frankly, I agree with you about things like paranoia being a part of what makes us all tick over Islam or Muslims, and as a matter of fact I feel just as terrorized by Catholicism, and I was born to that.

Now, also because of the fact I am a recovering alcoholic with 39 years sobriety, just accept that knowledge I freely give to you, and understand that you are not communicating here with Mohammed, Mother Theresa or Michaelangelo.

Let us be at peace with one another, because I too am a great fan of Kahlil Gibran, and my really deep feeling and belief, is what he spoke to my heart years ago;

"If we were to do away with the various religions, we would find ourselves united and enjoying one great faith and religion, abounding in brotherhood."

So my brother, let us lay aside our personal belief's for the moment, while I offer to you an apology from my heart for my being verbally offensive, and in the spirit of the God of our individual understanding, you accept it.

Have a peace filled day. Salaam,
