Yes, Muser - a teddy does impress the discerning chick!

Shadow - you need to join an online teddy-finding agency!

Teddys are a child's best friend! How clever of you to use your Teddy as a
chick magnet... Teddy Bears will be coming out of their boxes!

Tony - How brave of you to share your bedtime secret with us...

and Teddy taking preference over beautiful college girls? I think he definitely spoiled any chance you had throughout your younger days. You should have kept him locked up. haha

Maybe I'm just jealous because I haven't a Teddy for a bedmate, nor anyone else for that matter. shhhhhh

Yes, Bhaskar - I appeal to the teddy (or glove puppet) in all of us.
Let us meditate on our teddies. Surely then there can be no room for hatred?

Hee hee - he was in exile to the gulags for a few years, Proc...
but he has been rehabilitated. Well done - I wish I'd thought of that analogy when I was writing it!!

I'm glad it made you smile, Mary - you can't go wrong with a good teddy!!

Hi Tony
Growing up together with the gloved puppet, Teddy ...or. is he a childhood friend of your's? Whatever, loved your love.

He sounds delightful. Thank heavens you are in touch with your
softer side, otherwise teddy would have been banished to the Siberia of adulthood.

No, I'm not TeddyPoet (nor was meant to be...) - oh, i see, you mean
MY teddy. Thanks, Chili - you'll have to meet him some time!

That's right, Saul - I have plenty of intangible ones too.
Luckily, they take up less room!

Hi Kabu - I know - all the credit goes to my teddy for this one!

Troosha - oh no - your poor stuffed animals! I want to cry...
And the pink blanket? That... that's unbelievable. How could you???

We take our tokens of security with us throughout our lives,
Tonyzonit.  Some of those tokens are a little more tangible than others.

what a sweet poem.. you always surprise me

Aww..... Tony still has a Teddy
and isn't to proud to share that with us.    I think I got rid of all my stuffed animals and even last year I bravely waved farewell to my "pink blanket" which dried a good many tears or warmed a broken heart or two.

Spirit bears in the city, huh? And Spirit batmen?
This reminds me of a couple of years ago when they had flowery cow sculptures in various strategic places in the city centre of Manchester. Excellent stuff. And in Liverpool they had a lamb banana - the head of a yellow lamb and the tail of a banana. Yes, honestly. I'm not sure if it's still there or not. Well, thanks again, Neil - as you know, i've enjoyed your posts too, along with many others, some but not all of whom are in my People section. I don't list the Poets there because that seems too divisive. I read virtually all the poets. Ta ta, mate.

I can't wait! (Only to hear the juicy details form Thee, my friend)

Good to see ya. BTW--you, TAPS. Troosha and Bhaskar are my favorites when I have time to play and stay and open a way to deeper moments. Otherwise, my daily bread remains at the bakery of Lady Cee, Kat02, Mneme, afzal, Richinstore, and our favorite poets, of course.

Thanks, Neil - yes, it is perversely heroic. What a man I am!!
In my defence, I will soon be spending the nights with my lovely-looking blonde wife again!!

Love the BUTTon irony. Not butt on irony. Lovely way to snuggle if a lady's
not available. If yr teddy is like mine, she does not snore. Both her eyes and butt shine. Thanks for sharing--takes a hero to disclose he goes night-night holding teddy tight. shalom my friend. neil
