I have a cat that likes anything
but laps. She likes chairs, dining room tables, couches, kitchen counters, beds, houseplants, especially the larger ones, like the
ficus benjamina, book shelves, my running shoes...but no laps. Talk of
weird...

Yup! Oscar (our dachshund)
Thinks his place is on your lap. You could be sitting there, doing your own thing and then all of a sudden he has landed in your lap and then starts crawling over your shoulder so he can lick your ears, eyes, nostrils - basically anywhere he can get to! It's cute when he's doing it to someone else!

Curiously enough, our newspaper (The Philadelphia Inquirer) still carries what they call "classic Peanuts".
It's kinda strange, though, because sometimes the plots will be extremely out of date. You know, like involving Charlie going to see Mickey Mantle play or Linus arguing the merits of Brown vs The Board of Education.
Btw, can I ask you something, does "Fred Basset" run in your newspaper? Cause I don't understand the appeal of that comic at all. It's not even remotely funny.
I think the monkeys at the zoo should have to wear sunglasses
so they can't hypnotize you.

The laptop dog
My dog Baby AKA Tarbaby, thinks that he should be permantly grafted onto my lap. He trys to accompany me whenever I leave the house. Often he succeeds. Upon my arrival At my destination, I tell him, "Stay!" This is his most virulently HATED word. Before I've gone two steps, he is complaining bitterly for the whole world to hear. Yes I have a laptop dog. Guy
