Re: YUCK
Try to
move him after he has chosen a spot to bed down! He will be
right back when your breathing changes and he knows that you are asleep. Dogs are as stubborn as kids! The only thing I could do was roll over and sleep facing the wall and
away from the fumes. Guy

Re: YUCK
I heard that circling vultures help repair crews locate gas leaks in gas pipelines because they mistake the smell for a dead animal. Then it suddenly hit me! Vultures can SMELL! I would have thought that, given their
eating habits, this is
one sense that had mercifly atrophied over all the generations of their evolution. Talk about YUCK! Guy

Re: zzzzzzzzzzz I'm playing posum..(just kidding)..wet dog smell..ugh !
There are worse things than wet dog,
believe me! If a dog finds a long-dead animal carcass or dead salmon or a
live skunk you would think "wet dog" was roses. We will never understand a dog's love of "big medicine" smells, especially given their hundreds of thousands of times more sensitive ofactory sense! HA! HA! Guy

I'm so freaked out by possums! My friend who is an animal control officer/humane investigator tried to tell me about all the good things about them, but I wasn't buying it. Wet dog smell is
so bad. My friend who's Fillipino told me that white people smell like that when we're wet. Now I'm paranoid about getting rained on in public!
