I often check the classifieds there for writing opportunities. I found
MySpace to be a meat market and dropped out pretty quickly the first time I was there...now I'm there to post ads in the classifieds for a company I work for, but I never post anything.
As for this man, nothing wrong with going with "older." Good luck!
