Admittedly, It would be much less involved to skip the whole time-travel aspect. What could be more convienint than to time travel to the present. Still, I have to ask, what living indivdual is more interesting, intelligent, talented, fascinating and important in their field, than my two candidates?  Guy

It was Mark Twain, actually. Although I believe his exact quote was:

"Truth is the most valuable thing we have. Let us economize it"

Meanwhile, I think the one person throughout history that I'd most like to meet would have to be Jack the Ripper ... because that way the mystery (of his true identity) would finally be solved ... assuming, of course, I recognized him.
