Whacky I have fourfavourites.

If anyone tries to take one of them I bite. My sister comes to stay and she loves my pillows so we have a fight over them each time.

But it isn't just a girl thing, the man who draws searches the shops every time we are out. He doesn't like his pillows and he's looking for hard ones to suit his arthritic neck. But hard????

OH yes, I have four favourite down-filled pillows and they are rotated equally so no one feels left out.  Sweet post!  --Joy!Mary

We always had down pillows and even feather beds until we found out that one son was highly allergic to feathers and fowl down.   At first I thought we could just get rid of his and substitute for him.  But that didn't work.  We finally had to get rid of everything made from feathers for everyone in the entire house.   I was sorry to see them go.

Pillow love
A pillow stuffed and overstuffed with soft feathers is the only choice for me. And I usually fold it over for just the right lift, if I sleep on my side. The picky pillow is a cheap one. The fabric is cheap, the feathers include larger, stiff feathers that poke through the ticking (I think that's the right word.) Spend more on a good one, next time and you'll be glad you did.  Guy

Whacky,in my family I have a special pillow too because Im prone to
neckaches and headaches.  Sometimes one of the kids will swipe it .  When they are sleeping I creep around like Sherlock Holmes looking for my pillow.  I then remove it and put  their pillows back.  Mine is not a feather pillow but its pretty good.

When I was little, I used to have a favorite pillow, who I named "Mr. Lumpykins" ...

I don't remember what his texture was like, though.

How come the dove gets to be the peace symbol?
How about the pillow instead? It has more feathers than the dove,
and it doesn't have that dangerous beak.

Whacky, I do not use a pillow. But I used to have the best ol' down piller
in the world.  We tried to buy some down pillows at TARGET or someplace, and they were sticky -- like the quills were pricking us from inside the pillow.  Very weird.  I gave up on pillows.  Now I use my favorite flannel shirt from Christmas.  Every night.
