I remembered trying to kill ants with lighted candle+plastic..in the end, the melted plastic fell on my hands and left a scar.. serves me right.

So many memories, like using a magnifying glass to light a firecracker, to blow up an ant-hill - my friend and I wanted to get a really good look, to see what it would look like - so we put are eyes (faces) as close as we could to the doomed ant-hill - Ouch, for our eyes - and the ants!

maybe the glue then wasnt as potent as today. Or maybe it was worse.
Im busy with posts about childhood at the moment. Ive just written two before this latest post and Im amazed at the number of things I remember. But things like the smell of pink roses or certain songs from my childhood can take me right back. At boarding school we used to be so hungry I remember everyone eating the bark of one of the fruit trees. We all loved the taste but I tried it as an adult. yuckkkkkk

I love remembering my childhood and sharing those memories with my sisters. I always think that I remember it all until one of my sisters starts talking about something that I don't remember at all. Its funny how different things stick in the minds of different people.
