Go to any decent sized waterfall, Whacky and there is a permanent rainbow.  You could experiment by diving into one end and if the gold isn't there, try the other end.  Perhaps the pot of gold only appears in Disney movies?  I love the way your mind works, and I think you have the perfect pen-name.

I never told anybody this for fear they would add a new category to my madness. I was flying once, flying into LaGurdia and outside my window for what seemed like a full minute was this wierdly beautiful changing colors of incredibly bright light. I think we flew into a rainboe. I thought they had to be distant because it had something to do with light refraction on moisture... But this was the whole space outside my window.

beautifully whacky. I still love rainbows, since they remind me of magical moments of childhood, when magic was still 'real'...

Sometimes but for the most part it is others in my life who are the source. I have been high in the mountains and seen rainbows miles away and wondered about the very questions you raised in this post... for Bo...

Whacky & Bo...what a neat topic!
Does a rainbow start at the left or right?  Interesting!  I wonder if the inside of a rainbow feels misty like those mist fans you see at events on really hot days...you can't feel the mist hit you, but you can see the mist on your skin and it cools you off!  Good Lawd, you've got my mind a wadering!  XO
