This is true. You believe when you marry someone they could never harm you. They change so very much sometimes. Life in families one suspects as the one with it all together may be one in danger. Thanks for the comment. I am sorry you knew some of this too.

What a well written sad story. Things can become quite terrifying when a marriage comes to that point, especially a marriage that involves children. The "gun thought" shows how bad it had become. There was a time in my marriage where the thought crossed my mind that hubby just might be capable of something like that.
