What I see as hate-filled is the name calling that not a single conservative bloggers seems to be able to write a post without doing. Or maybe it is the blind attacks on any actions taken by non-conservatives, no matter what those actions are.  Or maybe it is that apparent need to over react to all scandals involving liberals, while ignoring anything wrong a conservative does. Then we get all the attacks on the Democrats for not dogging what they promised to do, when it is the Republicans and the conservative leaning democrats who are actually standing in the way of this stuff getting done. We even see the conservatives sinking so low in their hate that when an issue they dislike comes around that is 100% bipartisan, they ignore the truth that their own side is equally responsible and try to blame the democrats for it fully.

That is not facing reality or following truth in the least.  I have seen no 'illumination' at all coming from the conservative bloggers here, just hate and more hate.  They attack in the most childish ways, pretending that by doing such they are proving their points.

On the contrary! We most definitely face reality. What you interpret as hatred is our earnestness to make our commentary on that reality known. You find it hateful because you don't like your opinions being illuminated by the light of truth.

As far as enjoying life goes, I thoroughly enjoy the work of shining that light on the darkness of liberalism.

Regarding Iraq, I agree with you that conservatives don't face reality.  Things are deteriorating rapidly as time passes.

You know, it may sound conservative, but even though I took too long to get married, I want to conserve my relationship with my husband because I've never had a very good relationship with my bathroom mirror.
