Not to catch cold...

Yes
Not only got caught but deliberately ran out into it.  An annual ritual in India when the first rain of the monsoon (rainy) season comes.

Whacky...
Caught doing what in the rain?  I wish.  No, really, I mowed my mom's lawn today and just as I got done and put the mower away, it started raining, so I didn't get caught!  But it was a great day for a drive to the lake, rain and all.

I love walking in the rain unless it is a lightning storm.  I don't trust the lightning to leave me alone.

Yep, I have been caught in the rain, more often than I can remember. I don't even mind it too much. I hate it when I'm on my boat, though, I always think there's enough water already, and I particularly hate the 'Kaboom' when I'm out on the water...

One of my favourite things to do in a heavy SUMMER rain is wash my hair with my girls.  Fun!

In new zealand with the constant rain we get caught in rain often.
Mostly we try to keep umbrellas in the car but Ive never thought of keeping towels.  It would make sense considering how often it rains.  The worse one is that everyone gets wet then gets into the car dripping.  Then a day later the damp smell is awful.  love to you and Bo.  I really like your style of writing.  I could see everything you described.

omg..lol...Bo is trying to talk cat now??
Whacky, yes, when I was into running I got caught in everything from light rain to unexpected t'storms (from which I took shelter if at all possible)...actually running or walking in a "light" rain isn't bad at all....... - Mickey and Sam waiting to give Bo lessons in cat language....

Whacky,

I got caught in the rain more than once - can happen when you live in Belgium. Best time ever was when our entire party got caught up in this heavy (but very local) storm. We were in Zeebrugge and had to wait to cross a bridge. When the bridge opened again, and we walked on to Heist, all the people kept staring at us, believing we had taken a plunge in the sea canal! It had not rained for one second in Heist...

Btw, my cat used to speak sparrow, dog, mouse AND human!

Didn't he get scared though?

My cat, Maximilian, is terrified of thunder. So whenever a storm is approaching, he can sense it, and goes and hides under a bed or (for some reason) a bathroom sink.

P.S. Maximilian is fluent in both dog and sparrow.

It seemed to me that, somehow,
the blue jay was trying to communicate with me.
I would see him fly into the house across the way,
pick up the telephone, and dial.
My phone would ring, and it would be him,
but it was just this squawking and cheeping.
"What!? What!?" I would yell back,
but he never did speak English.

You mean Bo isn't a seeing eye dog? Hummm...

Yes I have been caught in the rain but when the lightning starts it's never a good thing to be around trees. I am glad you and Bo made it back okay...A for Bo and for you!!
