Gooda Morning sweet MaggieMae.
Maggie, I am very thankful that I am a mom. When I was little, I wanted only to grow up and find one to be my husband who loved me a lot and to have a lot of children.
I hope your Mother's Day was very special, for I know you are. Take care and enjoy your day, today.
Catch ya later..... and thanks for all your nice comments.
Ps. I have 20 new goldfish in one of our tanks and two new baby ______. Guess, sweet MaggieMae. Hah-hah

You're welcome! It helps me, too as it's part of what I'm writing about in a non-fiction book as well as serves to be a good reminder about what I'm doing. So, I thank you, too!

In Cornwall, where I live the population is divided in three, Indian, French and English. I'll blog on the reservation one of these days as it's an island that sits between the US and Canada. It's quite interesting. I'm almost ready to post my Weight Loss/Diabetes blog for you. In the meantime, TAPS wrote something terrific today.

Do you speak mostly French here you live in Canada? You're probably very fluent in both French and English, aren't you? Well, that's great.

You asked what proc asked and I answered in her blog. THis is what I said: "Bonne" means good in French. "Fete" is tougher to translate because it's meaning is gleaned through context. To say, 'happy birthday' in French, we say, 'Bonne fete'. Same thing. 'Fete' means basically, a feast or holiday. Totally confused now? lol! So, for Mother's Day, it applies as well. Miss Em (my 8 yr old) is basically telling me to have a good feast/holiday day.

Re: Maggie,absolutely priceless!!!!!
Thanks, proc. Thank you, too, for your added gem. hahaha Isn't that just like a child? In his eyes, his mom was just perfect. So far, I have had a lovely, quiet day and that's just the way I like it. I've seen my son and his family and maybe I'll see my daughter, I don't know, because she worked today.
How about you? Did you have a nice Mother's Day?

Maggie,absolutely priceless!!!!!
I have so many favourites,I dont know where to start. Im late reading as usual. I kept checking after your last post to see what new treasures you had posted then it seems as if when IM NOT LOOKING, you slip these gems in. Yep mums ,dont do spare time. What is that?As for mums being perfect, that one cracked me up. If only plastic syrgery could solve all the blemishes of time lol And I have to tell hubby why I married him, because he was too old to do anything else with.....I once read a lovely story about a boy who went to buy his mum a petticoat and when the man asked his mums size he said 'perfect.' well, the man gave him medium and imagine his surprise a few days later when this rather large woman came in to exchange the gift from her son. The writer concluded that the son saw his mum through the eyes of love. I hope you had a perfect mums day.
