Thanks for your comment and Aunt Jane was a trip.  She had a twinkle in her eye and a smile a mile across.  Good to have bananas from the cake or tree! lol

I sometimes see but do not look. Not sure if Id have remembered how the
house looked like if I had last seen it at the age of four

What a blessing to hang onto the memories you shared in your g/parents home. It sounds like it was a lovely place to visit and your Aunt Jane sounds like every kids dream. I must remember those words that the bananas were only sitting on top doing nothing...that brought a smile to my face as I am sure it still does to yours...
