espond to and with all the Blogit reading and commenting to do it is not easy. Still, I am glad that I could be of help. I know what you mean about not getting answers to your questions, when I read you comments page it felt like the dialogue of the deaf, it happens amongst us Arabs and Muslims too, it’s a cultural thing! In this part of this world to criticize someone is equal to insult them, there are exceptions to this weird rule of course, but in general don’t be surprised if people take things personally and fly off the handle without waiting to hear the full argument or think about it.

My pleasure . As I said in my post I had always avoided the two subjects of religion and politics because of the emotions they seem to stir, but with all the hate mongering going around in this world I think that we should start to peddle the values that realy matter: tolerance, respect for our fellow humans regardless of their color, creed and nationality and above all the ability to accept that Truth is not the monopoly of one particular group of people. Why should I lash out at these people when we have given them plenty of reasons to hate us? I am a Muslim myself but I find a lot of the rhetoric coming from our side to be pretty offensive, I am not surprised that it offends non-Muslims. It will take centuries to undo the damage done in the past 20 years alone. Thank you for taking the time to read my post, I know that it was not an easy read, your comments made the effort worthwhile.
