It is amazing how long it has taken me to understand that when bad things happen to us they are not always bad and we don't always know what really bad that simple aggravitation prevented us from encountering. A couple of these have made me re-think the way I'm feeling about a couple things I've been dealing with! Thanks for posting this.
My favorite quote about friends went something along the lines of "A true friend won't bail you out of jail...instead, she'll be sitting in the cell beside you!"
