Naut, while reading this I couldn't help but remember
the Kymer Rouge in Cambodia.  What happened in Sierra Leone was dreadful as is everywhere in the world where this is happening right now.  Makes me sick that our 'sensibilities' are taking care of this man.

I cannot understand what are legal grounds for giving this man refuge in Canada, there are many genuine refugees who seek asylum that are turned away for some reason or another, why offer his man protection????

I don't know what to say.  I knew of the horrors of Sierra Leone, but I did not know that the perpetrators were being protected in Canada.  It is maddening to think that they are safe and sound and hidden away from their just rewards.

Naut...In responding to this post, I became very emotional. I got lost in a
reply that not only was way too lengthy for a comment, but took so long to write that it was too late to go to dinner with Max when I finally finished. Max, too, is longsuffering when it comes to my writing... especially when it is of such a passionate nature. I am in a state of extreme upset right now, and I feel that I must wait until later to comment more on this subject which I will do in a post. I would not feel right about leaving a rant on your comment page especially when my views are filtered through my beliefs! I have such respect and high regard for you, Naut...thanks for posting this.

While the good people of the U.S. are worried about "Nappy" name calling.
Seems sort of sad somehow.

The only deal these guys should be cutting

Is rope, electricity or lethal injection.

I'd be pissed too if I was you guys.
