Oh dear.  I'm not so sure I'd feel so comfortable there.  Interesting though, the dichotomy of illusion vs what's real and where one feels most comforted.  Good work; sent tiny arrows through my skin.

Re: Scriber--at the time of this incident, there were no bullet proof glass
protections for the night clerk/manager.  As u can see, he got right out in the lobby and welcomed the guests.  I actually stayed at the Y for about three months, while looking for a job. I had just left an Editor's job at a small bankrupt weekly paper, and now I helped with their newsletter. lol.
