I've been riding coasters as long as I remember, but when it comes to fireworks nothing beats sitting at the top of a ferris wheel and watching them. It's like you're suspended in the sky.
This ACE thing sounds great, I'll have to check it out.

Pretty cool "hobby" to take up and like some of the other people you told (about the club) when you mentioned if a few days ago I was pretty surprised to hear the was such a club.

Oh my you bring back memories of the days when I could ride the coasters without my neck killing me...Knotts Berry Farm ...haven't been there in years! Now I can't imagine watching fireworks from a coaster but I bet it is an awesome experience!!!

I admire your tenacity and spunk! During the July 1 - July 4th weekend here, we go out in our boats to watch the shared US/Canada fireworks. Suits me fine.

yep--most of Big Thunder Mountain is outdoors, so we always timed it to be on the coaster when the fireworks started. Not sure you can see the fireworks from a ride with canoes, LOL. (the only ones that come to mind are indoors!).
