TROOSHA'S ACCOUNTABILITY
You are absolutely correct!  Anyone who believes that we do not need to have "good works" in our personal life and sincere examples of love and concern for others is living in a dream world.  I emphasized God's responsibility to us to be sure, but we must also prove our own worthiness.  Excellent comment!  Thank you, Troosha.

I suppose just as we have a lifelong accountability and to our children, in some respects so does God to us. But I rarely view it that way. I think of it as we have an accountability to God – to demonstrate that we are worthy of the gift of life we have been given and that we are living it the best way we can.
