I am so sorry this is happening to you. It is so frustrating to know you are not getting the air you need and everybody just says 'oh it wil be okay. I shall pray for you. Eat better!!! Eat two bananas a day one in the morning and one in the evening they work for so many things. I just posted about those things. Be blessed dear one.

Yoga is wonderful for really breathing deeply. I am sorry to hear that you are young and have had so many health problems. I wish you good health and happiness.

Thanks for the advice. I think I'm going to try some aerobic activity to see if that helps. It certainly couldn't hurt at this point.

isn't it just the worst frustration when all the doctors say, "your're fine" but you feel anything BUT fine! I've lost what little faith I had in conventional medicine, it just doesn't seem to be working for me. Hope you can figure this out.

I found your statement of teaching yourself to breathe again humorous. Does that mean someone must follow you around and smack you on the backside to start your lungs? Hope your condition improves soon. I understand your frustration with doctors. It is a science after all and full of unanswered questions.

togerprincess I know cats don't like water but my advice as an old
nurse is to find a nice safe pool and start to swim. The swimming expands your lung capacity while you have fun. Don't jump in the deep end(tee hee) and do a million laps. Do a few and gradually build up but go and have fun. It will help I promise.

Even having had a father, who was a doctor (R.I.P.), and a brother, who is currently a doctor, I can honestly say that I sympathize/empathize with your frustrations - I've had a chronic illness that I've been battling, since I was 10. Nevertheless, try and take care of yourself, so you can attain stardom, through one of our projects!
