Any good quality mattress will do. It is what occurs just prior to sleeping that ensures a sound night's kip!

Re: Tempur-pedic
See the response to Afzal's comment, we have one of those "memory foam" pads and other than being hot in the summer, it helped a little and hasn't squashed down, but it's not all that thick.

Re: I enjoy sleeping on Mat . Indian mat is more comfortable than
My wife requires much softness and I like a firm bed, thuse the individual adjustment capability of the select comfort seems to offer a solution, but apparently not everyone like it.

Tempur-pedic
I don't know how the air-adjustable mattresses are, but I got to test out a tempur-pedic mattress and LOVED it. It was the most comfortable thing I have ever felt! However, my fiance, who hates softer mattresses, didn't care for it. Also, I hear that after a while the foam starts to pack down and leaves you with a hard, uncomfortable mattress. So who knows. I say your best bet is to go try out various mattresses in the stores and get all the info you can. Good luck!
