No darlin I don't believe butterflies have anything to do with hurricanes...NM is a beautiful...and you sure had a lot of snow last year for there..Must be in the high country?

I guess that's like the old wives tale: if you step on a spider it will rain. I've stepped on a lot of spiders and never witnessed rain shortly thereafter so I wouldn't worry too much about the butterflies.
