I hate needles too. I am supposed to have bloodwork done every 3 months. I think I did it last about a year ago. Maybe more? Hmmm.
Sorry to hear you have so many procedures needed.
Be especially nice to yourself!

Good Morning Julia......I would tell them I don't want to be the training
ground for newbies! LOL I'm a tough cookie though..needles don't bother me as long as I don't look! LOL BTW, even though we hate this stuff, it's good you're taking care of yourself.

Yikes!
At my last physical, the physician's assistant had an intern practicing on us poor schlubs. I was fine with it until she wanted to practice checking my prostate.
Sorry, no. One rogering a year is about all I can stand.

So now that you've been checked inside and out, all you've got to
worry about is whether the lab techs get the numbers right when they put your results in the computer, and when Doc writes the new scrip that the pharmacist reads it and doesn't grab the wrong bottle off the shelf, and
Dateline doesn't come up with some new side effect that makes you want to blog incessantly or leave strange comments....

If you're being bruised, chances are you are dealing with someone who is inexperienced. You have a right to refuse being trained on.

Sounds like quite the ordeal and quite the day but maybe there's something to be said for having it all done in one day. It's behind you!!!

I had some blood drawn over a week ago, and I still have the bruise - I sypathize/empathize!

Julia...
I kind of like giving blood, (yes weird, I know) but I have big veins and it is easy. I should rent my arm out for phlebotomy practice.

Julia - A blood specialist told me once that if the person
knows what they're doing then it shouldn't bruise. They seem to be far and few between these days. Poor you having all of that done in one day! Yikes.
