My heart?  Ah, my heart travels with me and everywhere else.  It moves, flies and soars!

It seems to me that a book is always more real and more meaningful if it takes place in familiar territory.  Traveling in a place before reading it, makes everything really stand out.  And, it is almost as exciting to visit the place after reading the book.

Thank you for the compliments.  Most touched.  I lived in Afghanistan last year for four months.  I may well go again, later in the year.  Most welcome to visit me!

Greenfields - This new book sounds like real life.
I love reading your blog as you write so well.  Wish I knew a blogger of whom lives in Afghanistan.  I would like to visit there.  But not alone.
