When my sons were young and we did the family camping trips, I always packed a lot of prunes along with trail mix and
Space Sticks. My sons had a tendency toward constipation on trips for some reason and giving them lots of prunes for snacks and lots of water seemed to take care of that situation.

Whacky I was reading a book once and I'd taken a packet of prunes
with me to nibble while I read. Yep! ate the lot before I knew it. Yep not a good idea which I found out a few hours later.

HI Whacky...Around here they have changed the name of prunes
to dried plums....They are yummy but wooo, watch out ;o)

I always associate prunes with little old ladies in turquoise pants and purple hair who engage in lawn bowling. I haven't yet had the need or the desire for prunes, and hope to remain in that position for some time to come...
