YES!!!! I so relate to this. My husband and friends tend to get annoyed because I just can't "watch" a movie anymore... I still love them, but the industry has made me less of a non-interactive watcher :)

what a wonderful post--
I just really love her response to you. I love movies, too, but after I studied screenwriting in-depth, it ruined them a bit for me. It is difficult for me to just "watch and enjoy" them because I unconsciously dissect them, looking for the structure and all the other parts that make up the whole.
