It fits lengthwise in my hand. Probably about 5" long and 2-3" wide.

I look for points a lot but hardly ever see them. I did some work for a lady who found a bunch sifting through bottom sand in the river. I was thinking about trying it myself.

Funny you should say that. I thought it was a smooth rock, too. It wasn't until after I popped it out and started looking at it that I said, 'Whoa. What's this?'
