I think..
Happiness is what you make of it...and it sounds like you found your happy ending...it isnt defined by what others think..it is defined by your heart, your soul...you...I agree it should be a published novel..flushed out some and give a bit more of an ending...you, matt and your child..how is life going there..enquiring minds want to know lol...(eh im just nosey lol) but Im glad you have your happy ending..I love your story, and it is not over yet..

'Happiness can be derived from any event if we choose it.' lovely honest

words and very true. love and comittment is a decision. Sometimes we have the impossible dream just shimmering out of reach but we cant take it because we've promises to keep and hearts to protect. yet, we can make a pefrectly happy life if we choose. It all comes down to choice but no one said it would be easy. I truly love your story and its ending. This is real life, not always getting the perfect ending.

Thanks for sharing this with us here.

Re: rainy
Troosha, I agree whole heartedly. I wouldn't change a thing about how they are now... and we can never repair our past regrets.

Sometimes it's best to leave stones unturned. Our minds and our hearts can carry such powerful emotions when it comes to past connections and bringing them to the present sometimes diminishes their beauty. Your story is captivating and filled with both passion and turmoil.

Re: rainyday
Thanks Factor. I actually did. Sort of. I wrote a big, three generational book for my family. (as a tribute to my grandmother and mother) but have been thinking about dividing it into three separate books...

I think you should keep fleshing out your story and make it into a book. You can fictionalize details to protect privacy. Parts are hard for me as an "extremely rational" person to comprehend, but with more details and "conversations" your story has so many twists and turns it would make a great novel.
That's my opinion anyway
