You're absolutely right! Quinoa is totally boring on its own, but it
can be made tasty, and I fully intend to do that. I'm generally not into 'health food', I just like healthy food. But it must also be flavorful and interesting...

The scary part is I do know about quinoa – used to cook it instead of rice. That was during my “health food” phase though and I regret I’ve returned to more traditional cooking. Your recipe sounds great because quinoa on its own can be pretty boring. It’s kind of like the tofu dilemma – how the heck to we make this taste good!

Good morning again Offy
Here's one way of looking at it - take almost any kind of salad, add qionoa, and you've got a complete meal...

Re: I'll have to try that!!!
Whacky, it's the ultimate in health food! Even Bo the w.d. would like it, if he were into salad, which I doubt, but give him a little scratch behind the ears from me...

Hey, Kabu, give it a try! This is not weird tasting stuff, think of it as a substitute for rice...

Yep, there's them mushrooms too, LOL! And I have no idea how 'Bob's your uncle' came to know what it means, namely '...and there you are, you're all done (with whatever you were doing, especially when it was possible to do it in a jiffy, with little difficulty and fuss)...
Let's say you see someone fiddling with something he's trying to put together but doesn't really know how, and you show him, and you do it quickly and say, 'See, it goes like this, and like this...and Bob's your uncle!"...

Re: Hi, Naut, thanks. I'll give it a try, is there a difference in an
hazel, aside from having a hoity-toity accent, it tends to have fewer seeds. The longish cucumbers you see in most supermarkets today are 'English', even if they were born and bred here...
