Thanks for the roses and smiles, Whacky & Bo, the wonder dog. I notice that the traveling kennel is still on the front porch, which is OK. I'll worry when Ell puts it in the trunk and starts prowling the highways looking for hitchhiking dogs to rescue.

Yes, we were both very glad it worked out so well - after all we got Sam from a pound and I knew fine that the hitchhiker was never going to any pound, not with Ell on the case.
