I loved this....fun, imaginative, creative, mysterious, and dramatic all woven so effortlessly, what a wonderful teller of tales....don't stop feeding them to us as we devour them hungry for more. Superb....

No I don't think so, but I appreciate the compliment. Actually, all my stories have to have just a little truth in them for me to be able to write them at all or so it seems. I can turn almost anything into a pretty good story if I have something to base it on.

Yes, it is fiction. There really was a house about one mile east of us, but it was the one I was born in. A family still lived there until after I had grown up and left home.
