Then I take them to work and we use them to make ice in, we get every use we can.

Yes every last drop.
The same with bolonaise sauce and things like that - I add a little water - give it a shake and there you go....extras.

bubbles are magical--
I am a frugal human, so yes, I squeeze the last drop of product out of EVERY container. Some of them are not made to let you use all of the product, which I hate. I have even gone so far as to cut the container apart to get at the last bit. Often, it is enough for a week (or more) of use!

I do what you did--put hot water and swish it around. I even take the cap and throw it in the dish water because there is soap on it. LOL
