3 months (12 weeks)
After 10 weeks of pregnancy, your “embryo” graduated to a “fetus.” Your baby is now about the size of a lime. From the top of her head to the bottom of her buttocks, she’s about 61 mm (2.5 in) long and she weighs between 8 and 14 g (0.3 to 0.5 oz).
Your baby’s organs are starting to function, and her external genitals are beginning to show distinct characteristics of her (or his!) sex.
Her bones are forming, her fingers and toes are separated and yes, her fingernails are growing. She’s become quite active, kicking and swallowing inside your womb — though you won’t feel it yet. Your caregiver, though, may be able to hear her heart beat by now.
Cut to wakthat - check out the head. Plus, I believe if you have a large amount of abdominal fat - which this knocked up mamma does - you really not gonna feel too much.
