No, it's about those people who are emo just to get attention. You know, the people who have no idea what emo is about and are what the public see as emo.

I was "emo" before it was trendy....like 10 years ago. I don't like being called emo, but apparently I am. I have black hair, wear black clothes, have piercings and am over emotional...nice poem though
