Re: Irish - Yes, darling lady. Mary....yes....I know what you mean...
Neil is a true gentle man....he's kind and inspiring and he honors you completely with his praise. A kinder gentler man I've never know. His heart is pure golden and his intensions so pure and loving. He warms my heart when he visits and leaves me flowers...

Irish - Yes, darling lady. And well deserved. However, I must say I have
never been so honoured in my whole life as his most recent post.........

Provocative and warm, Irish!
Haiku is 5,7,5. The second line needs two more syllables - I'm sure you can think of something if so inclined, lol..Great mood and work!

is just as Foliage Gold has already observed --you do have the two flashes of imagery...the Zen Buddhists will be rolling intheir graves as they usually avoided talking of human love, only
obsevations of Nature--no satire, no pun, no double entendre. YET - u must make the senryu (modern haiku) your own just as Americans (now Canadians like Jopy!Mary) love the form they love and thus earn the rIGHT to make it work for their themes/ideas/objectives in writing. I am not that old-fashioned see? shalom

Irish - I don't know about haiku. Ironically, I just posted my very first
sonnet tonight! However, I LOVE the sentiments expressed in your haiku.
