I can tell you exactly where that humming is coming from, if you read my post on that topic...

Are you saving that gum from 1979, for later?  I am just kidding of course.   The way you wrote that made me laugh right out loud and of course, Hubby wondered why I was laughing.  Then, I just had to read your post to him.

Hi Whacky

Dog on, darn (no reflection on Bo) what a disappointment.  Maybe they improved the foundation, the electronic scanners, or maybe they changed light bulbs. Yes that is the way civic budgets go some times.  Hey, maybe they will contiue to do some work on the weekends. They could be doing the pay as you go policy. Hope all will get better

and you are paying higher taxes now for those so-called renovations

they have been renovating several of the branch libraries here
and only one appears to be improved. Cities cough up the money-- libraries are needed

Sorry you were disappointed.  Did you register a complaint before you left?

Some users just borrow and read at home so they are unaffected by the state.

ah...sounds like science-fiction to me!
I'll bet they had sick-building  syndrome. Are your libraries state-owned (is that a nation wide thing)? I dunno, anyway, ceiling tiles.....yeah, sounds like an environmental issue to me. rom Chrylann  and her wonder-frog (@^@) knee-deep. ~Blessings~
