Yes Kabu, I grabbed my shoes ready to bang on the floor last night .
I'd have used them, but the walking stopped and there was just occasional talking. There may be a girlfriend on the scene for the man below - if so, that is a nightmare scenario - the noise will be increased nd prolonged. It doesn't have to be deafeningly loud to be disturbing when it's happening or the floor below - all the noises come up thru the floor.

Poor Tiredantonionio it might read funny but I know its no joke.
Don't wait so long tonight. Start banging as soon as she does. Perhaps he was there and chasing her round and round the bed. Now there's a thought to try and sleep on!

Yes Bhaskar, send me some sound recording of your snoring!
I'll broadcast it thru their window by dangling it from a rope.

i understand too completely about this. and my husband would probably agree w/ you, too. our neighbors don't seem to care if it's midnight when they're riding their four wheelers or lighting off fireworks a month after 4th of july is over. the other night, i unfortunatley was the culprit when my hubby went to bed early and i had some friends over. we stayed on the porch as not to disturb hubby and kids, but apparently were still too loud and ending up waking him up. *oops* sorry hubby. :-D sorry about your restless nights, hope they get better and thanx 4 your comment on my poem. :)

Tony-yo-yo - I wonder if that lady still had her hat on?

Oh poor you not being able to sleep. I'm absolutely useless when I'm tire-ed. Hope you sleep better tonight. Despite the truth behind the sonnet, it was very well done. A

to you, sleepy, sonnet-spinner.

Sleepless night ultimately take their toll. Strange about the "wake-up" calls!?!? Hope tonight is a better night and sleep comes with ease.... Oh and of course I enjoyed the sonnet.

That's realy tough Tony! Nothing worse than lack of sleep-you can never
'catch up'!! I hope you got/get through your day all right-you must take extra care --we don't always see obstacles in front of us-when knackered! I hope the building noises cease very soon! Buy a pair of slippers for the 'lady'-perhaps she at least-will get the hint!Chris.

Looks like it really really angered you Tony. I sleep soundly though making
sound noises that my wife complains about that she can't sleep. You reminded me of her light sleep. So I am now teaching her how to get sound sleep.

I don't sleep very much - like "Travis Bickle" from "Taxi Diver" - or "Tyler Durden" from "Fight Club" - seriously, I don't sleep very much...

That kind of night is really horrible when it happens. I turn into some kind of beast while it's happening. Once you're awake and up, though, the nightmare slips away.
Right, I am now setting to work on your surprise for later....

I don't know which I like better, the sonnet or the commentary.
Both are excellent mental photographs. Sorry I missed you before you headed off for another day at the grindstone. Hope today goes better for you.
