Even though I live in Missouri, I can sit up on my back deck and off in the distance see the cars zooming along on the I-35 freeway. If I got on it and drove all the way, I would end up at the bridge that collapsed. Somehow knowing that makes me feel connected to those who have suffered loss from that tragic incident.
