Hi Ariala

Good to hear from you.  I have several family members who do no really like/need to have watermelon. Everyone's taste is a little different. I have no food alergies and most fresh vegetables from the garden are tasty. Take care

Enjoyed your post! I like watermellon Jolly Ranchers, but I'm not much
of a watermellon eater. LOL

Hi Sally

The day is warm here again, and I had a meeting, now getting ready for dinner and guess what?  We will have some watermelon too.  Ah how sweet it is.

Hi lustorlove

It sure was tasty and fun to eat.  Watermelon plants are big and have long runners, that is like a vine and many blooms on each.  They cover a large area. They look a little like pumpkin plants, or at least that large. I wish you could stop by for some watermelon.

Take care,

Lou

Hi Soul Builder

I agree.  We grow Charleston Gray variety. They are long and light green with seeds.  Besides you can't save the seeds and plant next year, a farmer's habit, not to mention seed spitting contests.

Good poetry and watermelons. A good combination. Watch out for watermelons though. God made them with seeds. Without seeds it is probably a MONSANTO creation. The last SEEDLESS i had made me sick. Cheers
