Yes, but for me it's mostly because I don't want to bother anyone. Plus,
I'm uncomfortable with the attention it usually brings, so I handle most things on my own.

I used to be like that and end up tiring myself out in the process
I learnt over time to take rejections in my stride, to learn that different situations present themselves at different times from different persons or even from the same person at different times

I used to have a big issue with rejection, but I have learned not to
take it personally. What I mean is that - if people say no, it's not because there's something wrong with me...it's because they just don't feel like doing it, or can't or whatever. I have also realized that if you ask for what you want...most people are willing to give. Still, it is easier for me to give than to ask.

I think what you take as rejection may be a positive sign for some greater
thing to come but you are unable to see it because of some request which made by some and your simple heart wants to please some one even at the cost of wisdom.
